Ken was born in Denver, Colorado. After high school, he moved to Kalispell and later Missoula, Montana, where he hunted, fished, and ran rivers. Ken visited Boise and eventually settled there before it became such a popular destination.
He began his career in Boise working at Micron in the Facilities Engineering Department, then stepped into the construction industry at Micron Technology as a Construction Project Manager.
After five years as a Project Manager, he moved into a Vice President role for Micron Construction, where he was one of three individuals directly responsible for the successful start-up and operation of Micron Construction Inc. Over the next six years, they grew Micron Construction from 3 to 220 management personnel.
In 2007, Ken founded Paradigm of Idaho, Inc. He saw a need for an Owners Rep, someone who could represent the owner on their projects, look out for their needs, manage the scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure the project had a successful outcome. Over the past 18 years, he has built Paradigm into a highly respected company with a great team and reputation throughout the state. His favorite saying is “Lead by Example.”
In his free time, Ken loves to hop on his mountain bike and hit the trails, spend time with his family and friends, take his dog for hikes in the foothills, ski, snowshoe, and travel as much as he can. Known as the grill master in his family, he grills a mean beef tenderloin.
