Idaho National Laboratory: Cybercore & Collaborative Computing Data Center

Industrial

The Cybercore Integration Center and C3, both part of INL's groundbreaking research infrastructure, showcase cutting-edge advancements in cybersecurity and high-performance computing. The Cybercore Integration Center, an 80,979 square foot, two-story facility, includes a data center and an advanced electronics lab dedicated to cybersecurity and infrastructure security research. It facilitates collaboration between industry, government, and academia to develop innovative solutions for protecting critical infrastructure such as the power grid. Meanwhile, C3, a 66,520 square foot, two-story building, features a powerful "supercomputer" designed as an 8MW High Performance Computing (HPC) Data Center with 2MW of redundancy. This center provides essential research and collaborative capabilities, supporting educational institutions and labs across the state. INL, a leading U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory, drives advancements in nuclear energy research and development. This project won the ENR Best Regional Projects in 2020.
